The “Headsets” section lists all the VR headsets in your organization, their status and controls.

Pairing a new headset

The headset needs the VRSim Training app — free on the Meta Horizon Store (see the quick start for install steps).

1. Click “Add headset” — a 6-digit code appears (valid for ~10 minutes).
2. On the headset, enter the code in the VRSim Training app.
3. The headset is paired to your organization and shows up as “Online”. The code is single-use.

After the first pairing the headset remembers the organization and reconnects on its own next time.

Status

• Online — the headset is connected and ready to run sessions.
• Offline — the headset is off or lost connection. Check power and Wi-Fi.

Status updates automatically.

Actions

• Rename — give it a clear name (e.g. “Training room 1”).
• Unpair — the headset is removed from the list and can no longer connect with the old code. To bring it back, pair it again. The history of completed sessions is preserved and stays in reports.

Live view

Open a headset in the dashboard to see the live view “through the headset’s eyes” — even before a session starts, as long as the headset is online.
